When I was coming home today I noticed that something was different. Somehow I had a feeling that I am somewhere that I have never been before…
Some clever plough man decided to go a little bit easier and made path quite straight and the result, we have path going in the middle of area that is growing graas in the summertime. And path lamps are just a few meters off the path…
Christmas card…

There is a nice road commercial in my way to work. It is a reminder to sent christmas cards early enough. It is nice to see that someone has really thought about this commercial and made it visually nice.
Winter morning

Mornings in the winter are just great. The sunrise, when everything is lighten by red and gold, it is just simply beautiful. Only if here is some snow in the ground…
Christmas tree

Christmas is coming closer. I was on my way to the work when I was passed by a police escort of a big tree. A tree was on its way to the city center where it will be our city’s christmas tree. Unfortunately above is the best photo I managed to get, I was always few minutes late on every road crossing, traffic lights, everywhere where transportation stopped for a while.
Having fun with camera

I don’t know why I haven’t left out to the nature to take photos for a long, long time, but luckily I did that today. And I was having a little fun with my camera. Although I did take my whole system with my bag, I decided to use only fixed 50mm lens and try to find new angles and ways to take photos. It was really fun and creative, I definitely have to redo this some other time. This time my photos were still quite ordinary but maybe next time I manage to get some really creative photos…
Photo report

Today came out a new issue of Aviisi, a local student newspaper. In this episode is my first photo report ever published in newspaper, well actually first photo report I have ever made.
Photo report was made about a local student event, Kaupunkisuunnistus, where freshmans (and sometimes some older students also) travels through the city from one control point to another, making some tasks in every control point.
It was really funny to watch and I also got some quite nice photos.

Helicopter

Today I managed to be in the right time at the right moment. I had some lectures near TAYS (Tampere university hospital) and when I was just leaving to the home I heard a helicopter. This was the first time I saw a helicopter lading on the roof and I guess that this was a patient transfer.
Autumn

I have to admit, autumn is here. Last week I was photographing a job (more about this a little later) and I also saw some maple leafs already in autumn colors and falling from trees.
For me autumn is always a little surprise, you never know when summer changes to autumn. First it is sunny and warm in days but in no time you suddenly realize that sun shines less and less and it is cold in the morning.
