Gaming…

Finally this day has come. I have almost finished my first game on Xbox 360. I have made my way all to the #1 on Need For Speed: Most Wanted. Now all I have left to do in the game is the ending scene, but I have made already all achievement what game has, so I have my first game with full 1000 gamer points gained. This feels actually quite good, although I am a little tired, finishing races take a little bit more time than I thought and I went to sleep to little bit too late. But it was worth it :)
Now all I have to do is just finish that last scene and start thinking what will be my next game to play through. Maybe NFS: Carbon or perhaps Project Gotham Racing 3...

Code editor

At the moment my work includes a lot of PHP coding. And it is much much easier to code when you have a good editor. I have used TextWrangler for all my coding purposes. It is a good editor and what I like a lot is its capability to open and save files directly from SSH server, so there is no need to have local copies and then synchronize modifications to the server.
Today I found a new editor, Coda, which is a new editor. I have only time to test it very briefly but it seems to be just what I need. It can also open files directly from server. And it has very nice UI, a lot of integrated functionalities like CSS-editor, PHP-manual and lots more. It really seems to be all in one package.
Maybe the most useful feature compared to TextWrangler is that Coda can show function listing from PHP-file. So it is easy to jump directly to correct function to edit just clicking the name of function. TextWrangler missed this feature and I have actually spent a few moments to find a good editor having this small but useful feature.
The only bad thing about Coda is that is is not freeware. But at this time, it seems to be a program that is worth of buying.

New frontpage

Well, site redesign took a lot longer than I first expected but finally it is done. Now I have a front-page, which leads to different parts of my site (this blog, photo-gallery and portfolio (which is not ready)).
Now I just need to create custom theme for Wordpress and Gallery so I can match visual design in all my pages. I just wish that I have already a clear image what I really want. Maybe I create something similar than front-page, maybe not. And then, of course I really need some good content here. And finish my portfolio...

Too much to do again, too little time. I have a big project ongoing in work, another project is in the middle of implementing phase in school and I just don't have a lot of free-time at this time. And for some reason I nowadays spend my precious free-time in front of my television, playing with Xbox 360... I wonder why my website doesn't progress...

Spring is coming

It starts to feel like spring is finally coming. There is currently 14°C warm outside, which is already normal summer temperatures in Finland.
We have had a strong wind this week. Earlier this week one lake was still quite well covered by ice, but after few days of wind ice has been staring to disappear. Well, almost, it seems that all that ice has been stacked on the same spot.
